FAQ

[box type="warning"] We do love our rosary beads, but we cherish our children even more. Please exercise your best common sense with your beads whenever children are near: Never let a baby put a rosary – or any kind of bead – in their mouth. Do not leave a rosary within reach of unsupervised (and curious) little hands. Do not allow children to swing rosary beads. Never let a child wear a rosary around their neck. Never allow loose beads out in the open: all too quickly they can disappear down an airway, and it can be too late. When not being used, be sure to always keep your rosary in its case, safely out of reach. This is not to frighten anyone away from using rosaries in the presence of children, but simply to serve as a reminder of how precious our children are, and that we just need to be smart about airway safety. And if you haven’t had a brush-up in the Heimlich Maneuver lately (especially how to perform it on children), now is the perfect time. Please contact your local Red Cross for more information on First Aid and Child Safety.[/box]

Can I have a rosary custom made?
The simple answer is no.  I am so delighted to think that you may be interested in a custom piece; that is the greatest compliment that any bench could ever hope for.  In the past, I have been a very busy all-custom bench, and while it is deeply gratifying to create such personal treasures, it is time-intensive to the point that all other work (and occasionally family life) takes a back seat.  A huge part of why I am a rosary maker is inspiration and the creative process.  For me, rosary making isn’t a function of manufacturing, simply assembling parts to build an inventory; it goes so far beyond that as to be the very expression of my relationship with Heaven here on earth.  It is deeply personal, and every piece that I offer is a little vignette of my story with the Divine.  With custom work, that conversation becomes muffled  in a particular way.  Thank you for your understanding and I hope that, ultimately, you will enjoy being part of this most joyful conversation.

I love your rosaries, but why are they so expensive?
Miracoli Rosaries do cost more than most.  My intent is not just to “sell rosaries,” but to create legacy family rosaries that have the durability to be passed down through a dozen generations, combined with an inspired beauty that makes them irresistible to hold and pray.  I design my rosaries with centuries in mind, and believe that my customers enjoy incredible value.  That said, here is a bit more detail of what goes into every sacramental that I make:

Time. Not including the design process, Miracoli Rosaries take an average of ten hours to construct, and often longer.  Patina links take their own sweet time.  They are not pre-made in a factory somewhere or constructed from eye pins.  Our links arrive as coils of nice, thick wire.  The wire is hand-cut here into the lengths that will become the links, according to the size of the beads in any given design.  From there, I set to the work of building the links: first one side, then adding the beads and any embellishments, and then the other side.  This is a very labor-intensive process, and there are simply no short cuts to this method.

Materials.  The greatest value over the lifetime of a sacramental comes from selecting materials that are sturdy enough to go the distance.  I absolutely understand that if you are choosing to spend your precious resources for a rosary, it had better be worth it.  I certainly hope that you will find Miracoli Rosaries to be very much worth your investment; I take stewardship as seriously as you do.

Absolutely Guaranteed. Wire-wrapping is your first insurance policy against needing repairs.  If, however, you should ever find that your beads are in need of service, you are covered.  Please see our Guarantee page for complete details.
