About
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been captivated by anything that sparkled. I love remembering my grandma’s costume jewelry and how those rhinestones splashed rainbows all over the room; it delighted not only my eyes but lifted my heart and made my imagination soar. One of my sweetest memories is how she let my little hands pour over her treasure chest of dime store gems and pearls.
It was that early love of gemstones that rooted deeply in my heart. I loved everything about them and dreamed of becoming a Certified Gemologist when I grew up. On my way from here to there, however, God blessed me with my dear husband. It was time to put my childhood dream aside while we set out on the adventure of our new life together.
Throughout my life, my love of the Catholic faith remained constant, but it wasn’t until my husband’s second deployment that everything came together and became Miracoli Rosaries. I absolutely love the combination of art and faith that is found in a beautiful rosary. It was then in 2007 that I had finally found my place artistically when I began to handcraft rosaries of my own design, but I quickly learned that I wanted to spend my time creating, not repairing. This meant wire-wrapping exclusively – an entirely new direction. Not happy with my first wired efforts, I set about building a better link; by the grace of God, the result of that effort is the Patina Wrap, which combines the permanence of wire-wrapped links with the timeless aesthetic of those wonderful old, antique rosaries.
